Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Melbourne, Victoria, Ecclesiastical District of Australia West, who are willing and capable of donating blood gathered at the Australian Red Cross Blood Donation Center in Melbourne for their blood donation activity on August 19, 2023.

Led by officers of the Christian Family Organizations, the volunteer brethren composed of both regular and first-time blood donors. They all underwent the required screening process, which were blood screening, blood pressure monitoring, and body mass index (BMI) reading, to ensure that the donors were qualified to donate blood.

“Conducting this activity has allowed us to be of help to the community especially to our fellowmen, be they Church Of Christ members or not, who are in need of [blood] transfusion,” said Chloe Antoinette Tinao, KADIWA officer.

“Donating blood is a rewarding experience to us, donors, knowing that doing so could potentially save the life of others,” said Adrian De Julian, also a KADIWA officer. — With reports from Jennelin Guanzon and Emmylou Sanchez of INC News Section
