Responding to the call to accept Church duties to be of help to the Church Administration in caring for the spiritual welfare of the brethren, 72 new Church officers from the Ecclesiastical District of Western Europe who voluntarily underwent training and seminars were sworn into office during a special gathering on November 28, 2022.

Together with other Church officers, they gathered at the designated venues closest to their local congregation. These were in Marseille and Nice (both in France), Antwerp (Belgium), Geneva (Switzerland), and Monaco. Church officers from other congregations gathered at their respective places of worship and virtually attended the gathering via videoconferencing.

Brother Marvin B. Adriano, district supervising minister, reminded them that they ought to fulfill their God-given responsibilities in accordance with God’s will written in the Holy Scriptures. Afterwards, they were sworn into office by Brother Zjefley Morano, district edification overseer.

Among those who took oath that day was Rey Gonzales. He said, “I will wholeheartedly fulfill this God-given gift.” He took his oath as an officer in the Buklod organization in their local congregation.

“Having more Church officers is a great help in boosting the workforce of the Church for the strengthening of the faith of the brethren,” Brother Morano said. — With reports from INC News Section
