The Ecclesiastical District of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, in the Philippines, conducted baptism at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Kabankalan City on August 26, 2023.

Brother Amando Bariring, Jr., district supervising minister, first taught God’s words to the candidates for baptism. From the Bible he emphasized that, for people to receive salvation on Judgment Day, they must obey all of the commandments of the Lord God, one of which is being found inside the true Church Of Christ.

The baptismal candidates took their oath of membership after the Bible-based lesson. Then followed their actual baptism.

Grateful to the Lord God for having been baptized, Rosenia Perez enthused, “I am so glad that I’ve been able to obey this teaching of our Lord God to enter the Church despite the hindrances.” — With reports from Larene Gayle Quimpo of INC News Section
