The Ecclesiastical District of New Jersey consecutively conducted two Care for Humanity events at two separate venues on October 28, 2023.

Led by Brother Alex Reyes, the district supervising minister, the first one was held in the morning at the Veterans for Foreign War Building in Jersey City, New Jersey; the latter in the afternoon at the City of Bayonne Fire Department, also in New Jersey.

Recipients in both venues included not only the first responders and fire victims, but also war veterans. The event also became an opportune time to raise fire safety awareness among all in attendance.

“Thank you to all the members of Iglesia Ni Cristo for their generous donations to recent fire victims and first responders as part of their ‘Care for Humanity’ program,” Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis stated.—With reports from New Jersey District Multimedia
