The Ecclesiastical District of Nueva Vizcaya, in northern Luzon, Philippines, sponsored a district-wide blood donation activity on July 30, 2022. The socio-civic activity benefited the blood bank of the Nueva Vizcaya Provincial Hospital (NVPH).

To better facilitate the said activity, the district leadership designated two venues for it: NVPH (Bambang) and at the covered court of Bonfal in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. Officers of the Christian Medical Dental Paramedical Society (CMDPS) assisted the NVPH medical staff in screening the potential donors and the actual blood extraction.

“Donating blood has many benefits” said Dr. Cherielyn Galima, a blood bank officer. “By just donating blood, we can help save lives.”

Ministers and ministerial workers, led by Brother Fermin P. Pacquiao, district supervising minister, supervised the brethren who volunteered to donate blood in the activity. — With reports from INC News Section
