The members’ efforts at propagation work these past months were blessed with outstanding results, thus the Local Congregation of Orosi was granted by the Ecclesiastical District of Northeast California’s leadership exclusive use of the district’s baptistery on a certain date, ahead of the other local congregations in the month of October.
Brother Benjie Delos Reyes, resident minister of Orosi, expressed gratefulness to the Lord God for His help to their congregation which was manifest, among others, in the growth of its membership due to the bountiful yield in evangelism.
“This baptism is proof that the Church in [Orosi as well as in] Northeast California, continues to grow, with the help of God and through the leadership of our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo,” he said.
Held at the Fresno Local Congregation’s house of worship on October 22, 2023, the baptismal service was officiated at by Brother Rey M. de Mesa, the assistant district supervising minister. In his Bible-based homily, he reminded the would-be members to treasure and take care of their Church Of Christ membership as they strive to grow in the faith toward salvation.
“God brings me great joy. I am happy to be part of the Church Of Christ. I feel welcomed by the brethren.” said Veronica dela Rosa, one of the newly baptized, who hopes that she would “one day be a part of the choir.” — With reports from Teresa Soriano of INC News Section
