In recognition of the efforts and sacrifices of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members working in various medical facilities in Norway’s capital city, officers of the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) in the Local Congregation of Oslo East, Norway, Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe held a “Healthcare Workers Appreciation Day” on April 24, 2022.

Held at the function hall of the local congregation’s place of worship, the program in honor of the health workers was supervised by Brother Fred Rigor, ministerial worker, and hosted by Ricky Paleracio and Bamba Estoy, both Church officers.

The program began with a video presentation that included interviews with the health workers. Two of them Mary Jane Baltazar and Ronalyn Sabado, nurses as well finance officers, shared their personal experiences at work during the pandemic. Although they also contracted Covid-19, they said, with God’s help they were able to recover and have gone back to continue serving others, and most of all, fulfilling their duties to God.

The honorees were given care packages as a token of appreciation for their service to the community at large. — With reports from INC News Section
