“This will help the brethren become even more active in their worship of God,” said Albert Ebrio regarding the opening of a group worship service (GWS) in Digby, Nova Scotia, Canada by the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa recently.

“Moreover, it will become much easier for us here to invite many more people in the works of propagation since our place of worship where we can now conduct also our evangelical missions is more accessible to others,” he added.

Brother Eleazar Yarcia, assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the inaugural worship service of the new GWS, which was held on June 24, 2022 in the house of worship of the Halifax Local Congregation where brethren from Digby were formerly enlisted.

The brethren in Digby, which is approximately 229 kilometers from Halifax, could now hold worship services close to their homes. A part of the residence of Albert Ebrios has been converted to serve as the new GWS’ place of worship.

“The inauguration of the Digby GWS proves that the Church, which is ever-growing in different parts of the world, is loved and cared for by the Church Administration,” said Brother Edgar Allan Hale, resident minister of Digby GWS. “Our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, wants to ensure that all Church Of Christ households remain steadfast in the faith and zealous in serving God.” — With reports from INC News Section
