Families from the Local Congregation of Port Moresby, in Papua New Guinea enjoyed one another’s company as they played fun sports and games, strengthening their bonds with their immediate families as well as the bigger Christian “family” where they all belong.

They got together at Sunset Lodge in Lealea Village on June 25, 2023 for this Christian Family Organizations-led edification activity, with the overall supervision of Brother Mark Jayson Montes, resident minister.

The Buklod, KADIWA, and Binhi officers worked together to organize and officiate fun games, such as sack race, frisbee, word relay, as well as singing and dancing exercises.

Parents and children, together with other brethren also had fun playing board games, such as scrabble, chess, and snake and ladders.

“This CFO Socializing did not just strengthen the bond of brotherhood among us,” said Cecil Peralta, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW). “This is also one of the ways to ease out our loneliness especially that we are far from our loved ones.” — With reports from Quiza Quiñola of INC News Section
