Aiming to express their warm reception to the new brethren, prospective members, as well as guests, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers in the Local Congregation of Port Moresby, in Papua New Guinea, hosted a “Welcome, My Brethren” activity outdoors. It was held on June 19, 2022, at the grounds of the local congregation’s house of worship.

During the activity, there were song and dance numbers, as well as interactive games that brought delight to the attendees. Brother Regino Manangan Jr., resident minister, engaged in meaningful conversation with the brethren, prospective members, and guests from previous evangelical missions.

“It’s fun. I like it,” said Glenda Eido, one of the newly baptized brethren who attended the activity. “Some of my family members are with me here. I share with them why I believe that the Church Of Christ is the true Church. They have agreed to learn more about the Church and the teachings of God it upholds. I hope soon they would become Church members just like me.”

The Local Congregation of Port Moresby is under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of Australia West with offices at Civic Parade, Altona, Victoria, Australia. — With reports from INC News Section
