“Church members here in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe continue to be one with the Church Administration in the holy endeavor of inviting more people to listen to the words of God, so that many more would be brought inside the true Church Of Christ.”

This is the statement of Brother Vizar Balcita, district supervising minister, during an interview after one of the baptisms held in Northern Europe for the month of November.

The district held two baptisms—one at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Copenhagen, on November 19, and another at the place of worship of the Olomouc Group Worship Service (GWS) on November 26, which was also witnessed through livestreaming by brethren from the Local Congregation of Moscow, Russia.

Before the immersion in water of the baptismal candidates in Copenhagen, Brother Balcita delivered a biblical homily, emphasizing on the importance of becoming a member of and remaining inside the Church Of Christ. The same biblical message  was highlighted by Brother Jake Edic, assistant district supervising minister, when he officiated at Olomouc.

A deaconess from the Copenhagen Congregation, Elisa Quijano, said, “Being members of the true Church Of Christ, we share our faith with others so that many more people will be saved come the Day of Judgment.”

“In my former religion, I was only there because that was where I grew up, nothing more, nothing less. So I always felt emptiness inside of me, even though I was already earning a lot from my job,” shared Nick Nargatan, newly baptized member from Olomouc. When asked why he decided to join the Church, he added, “But when I learned about the Church Of Christ, and especially now that I’ve been baptized, I learned my true purpose in life. I’m ready to dedicate my life serving the true God Who gave me life. Also, I’m grateful to the brethren who helped me reach this day of my baptism.” — With reports from Anna Dulin of INC News Section
