Residents of Alibijaban Island, an island situated west of the coast of the town of San Andres, Quezon Province in the Philippines, were the beneficiaries of a recent outreach-evangelical mission hosted by the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon South.

On January 12, 2023, a delegation of Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members led by Brother Emmanuel Lanzanas, district supervising minister, travelled to the island not only to extend material assistance but, more importantly, share the Good News that leads to salvation.

In his Bible-based preaching, Brother Lanzanas urged the residents to heed the call of God to seek out and join the true Church to be worthy of the promised salvation. Afterwards, he led the brethren in handing out goodwill bags to all of the attendees.

Baby Jean Tolosa, a resident, said that “it is so heartwarming to see members of the Church Of Christ extending help to us. More than the material need that we received, we were also taught the words from the Bible, which I think is more important than anything.”

Tolosa, like many others from her community, decided to enlist as doctrinal instructee so she will be able to learn more about the teachings of God being upheld by the Church Of Christ.

Brother Lanzanas said, “We thank the Almighty Father for hearing our prayers. Through this activity launched by the Church Administration we were able to invite many guests. Our district will continue to support the work of propagation here to fulfill God’s will of bearing abundant fruit.”—With reports from INC News Section
