Upholding their organization’s motto of “Saving lives is our priority,” members of the Society of Communicators and Networkers, International (SCAN) in the Taiwan Ecclesiastical District spearheaded a blood donation drive from September 22-27, 2022.

Within this seven-day span, depending on their availability, the SCAN members proceeded to a designated blood donation center near their local congregation.

“This blood donation is beneficial, not only for our own health, but also helps those who are in dire need of blood,” explained Engelrey Abalos, SCAN district president.

“Being part of this event makes me happy, because as I unite with the Church Administration in the activity that they launched, I am also able to help in saving others’ lives,” said Dominique Legaspi. He was one of the participants who reported to the Taichung Blood Donation Center of the Taiwan Blood Services Foundation in the Xitun District of Taichung City.

Abalos further said, “We are always ready to participate in all Church activities, such as this blood donations, with the goal of helping our fellowmen as commanded by God.” — With reports from INC News Section
