Seminar in Leyte West equips brethren with stress management strategies

Part of the efforts of the Church Administration of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), a seminar concerning mental health was conducted for the brethren from the Ecclesiastical District of Leyte West.
Held on January 8, 2023, the activity was led by Brother Elson Sarmiento, a minister of the gospel from the INC Counseling Office. It was held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Ormoc City. Brethren from other local congregations joined in the activity via videoconferencing from their respective house of worship.
In his discussion, Brother Sarmiento presented to the brethren effective strategies in stress management, giving emphasis on the importance of cultivating an optimistic state of mind. As a minister of the gospel, he reminded the brethren to never forsake the worship services because during such occasions they receive guidance and inspiration from the Lord God through His words.
“I thank God because, through the efforts of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, the brethren feels His concern and love as we sojourn in this world,” expressed Brother Roberto Tripoli, resident minister of the Local Congregation of Alta Vista. — With reports from INC News Section
