The Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan West, in the Philippines, convened choir members from all of the local congregations on November 26, 2023 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Malolos for a special gathering, their zeal in fulfilling their duty rejuvenated as they received God’s words.

Brother Librado Santos, district supervising minister, officiated at the holy gathering. Through the Holy Scriptures, he reminded the choir members that being an officer in the true Church is a privilege given by God.

He added that as the choir members lead their fellow brethren in hymn singing during worship services, God likewise expects them to lead in being active members of the Church, which is by being united with all of the activities the Church Administration launches.

“I’ve been a choir member since I was a child. I firmly believe that this duty is God-given, and so it is only right that I dedicate myself in fulfilling it,” said Benita Dela Cruz from the Local Congregation of Paombong. “Every time I perform my duty, I pray to God that may He embrace me through His power.” — With reports from Ashlyn Sulit of the INC News Section
