On January 9, 2022, the Ecclesiastical District of Northeast California held a special gathering of all Church officers. Their first this 2022, the activity, which was facilitated online, edified the faith of the attendees, providing inspiration for them to all the more actively perform their duties.

From the host site, Brother Cris Lotoy, district supervising minister, exhorted the congregants with a Bible-based lesson about the power of prayer and the importance of placing one’s complete trust in the Almighty God in the face of various challenges in life.

“Even if we are going through the toughest of situations, nothing is impossible with our Almighty God. And so, our trust and our obedience to our Almighty God, should always be [complete], so that we may never lose hope,” Chenelle Aquino, a Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher from Sacramento Local Congregation, enthused.

The Church officers gathered at their respective houses of worship while others connected from their homes.

“The special gathering tonight, reminded us, [Church] officers, of the importance of our duties, and being even more active in different Church activities that will help to edify our brethren, to share our faith, and be effective helpers of the Church Administration. And also, as we perform our duties, not only our faith is strengthened, but above all, it pleases God.” said Ahleen Medina, a choir member from the Local Congregation of Roseville. — With reports from INC News Section
