The series of activities the Ecclesiastical District of Sultan Kudarat conducted to commemorate its 43rd anniversary included the district-wide blood donation drive held on January 28, 2022.

Moved by their desire to be of help to their fellowmen, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members—regular and first-time blood donors alike—participated in the humanitarian endeavor held at the municipal covered court in Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat, Mindanao, Philippines.

Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers from the district collaborated with the Philippine Red Cross for the blood donation drive. From the screening of potential blood donors to the actual extraction of blood, CMDPS officers lent a helping hand.

Among the donors was police officer Mary Grace Eugenio, choir member from the Local Congregation of Magsaysay. “Donating blood has become a part of my life,” she said. Firmly believing in the importance of being active in Church endeavors despite having a busy schedule, she said she found time to participate as it is “very important to be of help to our fellowmen.” — With reports from INC News Section
