The Taculing Local Congregation celebrated 35 years of triumph that God blessed them with during a socializing activity on May 27, 2023 at the function hall of the Negros Residences in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

The program began with a ribbon-cutting of the photo exhibit led by Brother Ronaldo Canlas, district supervising minister, and Brother Johnny Briones, resident minister. The exhibit showcased historical photos of the brethren engaged in various Church activities.

“I’m so happy to see how the congregation has been blessed by God,” said pioneering member Fely Gomez as she reminisced the humble beginnings of their congregation. “Through prayers, we now have a new and beautiful house of worship. I’m very grateful to Him for witnessing how the congregation continues to flourish.”

One of the 46 congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, the Taculing Congregation’s house of worship is situated in Purok Rosal, Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

A short video presentation was shown about the growth and expansion of the local congregation. This was followed by song and dance performances by talented brethren rendering Iglesia Ni Cristo original music.

Among the performers were Antonio Laguyo, a deacon, and his household. “It’s heartwarming to know that we are part of this momentous occasion. We did our best in our performance to show our love for God and unity with the Church Administration,” he said.

“We thank the Lord God for helping the congregation throughout 35 years from its establishment,” enthused Brother Briones. “Despite the trials, the brethren continue being active in their services of Him and so we promise to never falter in participating in Church activities as the Day of Judgment is fast approaching.” — With reports from Mica Banogon and Finley Sanglitan of INC News Sections
