In the spirit of Christian unity and brotherhood, members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) from every congregation in the Ecclesiastical District of Quezon North showed solidarity to the new and would-be members during the “Welcome, My Brethren” (Welcome, Kapatid Ko) they held on June 18, 2023.

Regarding the event held at Cawayan Covered Court, Real, Quezon, Philippines, Brother Alex Alimon, district supervising minister, said: “This activity is so important, for in this manner, prospective members in our district will have the chance to get to know with each other, that may lead to strong bond between brothers and sisters in the Church.”

Featuring dance and song performances of Iglesia Ni Cristo Original Music and songs that conveyed the true Christian faith, the get-together program brought gladness and inspiration to the Quezon North District members, old and new alike.

“I am so glad, for I can truly feel the brethren’s warm welcome of us,” said Gweneth Calleja, one of the prospective members from the Infanta Local Congregation.

Fellow would-be member Annielyn Elchico, from the Llavac Local Congregation, enthused: “I thank our Lord God for calling me to become part of the true religion. I would also like to thank the one who invited me to listen to the teachings inside the Church.” — With reports from Honeylie Suyom of INC News Section
