The Ecclesiastical District of Greater Toronto organized a KADIWA Formal at the function hall of the Local Congregation of Midtown Toronto on November 12, 2023.

Inspired by the theme ‘Jardin á Paris (garden in Paris),’ it provided the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) unmarried members aged 18 and above “a quality time. It’s a chance to dress up, have fun, and enjoy the night with the company of our friends,” said Mark Sydney Paul Inoncillo, Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher from the host congregation.

Having met fellow KADIWA brethren across the Greater Toronto area, Jennie de Venecia, from the same congregation, said that the event “has helped as we grow stronger spiritually in the Church.”

Brother Raul Adalla, district supervising minister, graced the occasion with his presence. “It has strengthened the love of brotherhood, and has all the more encouraged the KADIWA members to actively participate in all of the activities launched by the Church Administration,” he said.

“Having a group of people who share the same faith and values as mine personally helps me to stay hopeful,” said Diane Marie Rodelas, district KADIWA president from the Toronto Congregation. “This activity has been an important reminder to us KADIWA members that there’s an organization in the Church that we belong to, and that loves us,” she added. — With reports from INC News Section
