Doing their part in caring for the environment, KADIWA members from the Ecclesiastical District of Zambales North in the Philippines got together for a coastal clean-up activity on June 5, 2022. As one, they spruced up a stretch of the beach in the village of Garreta, Palauig, Zambales.

Russel Doctolero, KADIWA district president, said, “It is vital for us to help take good care of our natural environment as it is the main source of living of most residents here.”

After a prayer at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Palauig led by its resident minister, Brother Nemecio Llagas Jr., the brethren walked to the site of the clean-up activity, about two kilometers distant.

The participants, with their sanitary gloves on, picked up, gathered, and disposed of trash they found along the beach. — With reports from INC News Section
