A total of 733 new officers took oath of duty during the special gatherings of Church officers that the Ecclesiastical District of Zambales North, in the Philippines, simultaneously held at four separate venues on December 3, 2023.

Brother Mateo A. Escobido, the district supervising minister, officiated the occasion at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Sta. Cruz; Brother Rene G. Duria, the assistant district supervising minister, at the Local Congregation of Iba; Brother Rodel Macaspac, district Light of Salvation overseer at the Local Congregation of Bato; and Brother Rene Santiago, district Church Officers overseer, at the Local Congregation of Masinloc. Afterwards, their fellow ministers, who constitute the district leadership, led the oath-taking of new officers at their respective venues.

The preaching ministers detailed from the Bible the proper way the Church officers must fulfill their Church duties, bearing in mind that God is the One who entrusted them those.

“Being a Church officer is a great blessing from God,” expressed Esther Fajardo, a choir member from the Local Congregation of  Bani. “Even with many challenges and hardships in life, I firmly believe that I can endure with the help and mercy of our Almighty God,” she added.

“I will dedicate myself fully to the Church responsibilities I’ve been entrusted with, and above all, actively participate in the many activities launched by the Church Administration,” said Joyce Ann Alop, a Children’s Worship Service officer from Masinloc Congregation. — With reports from Queen Georgia Gagarin of INC News Section
