Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from Bacolod City, the Philippines’ “City of Smiles,” gladly shared the true faith as they simultaneously held two evangelical missions on June 2, 2023.

The first evangelical mission, which was held at the Benjamin Hall situated in 4th St., Bacolod City, was made possible with the unified efforts of brethren from the local congregations of F. Y. Manalo, Honorata G. Manalo, Bata Subdivision, Jalandon, Villa Villeta, and Arao Extension.

Brother Regidor Canlas, minister of the gospel, led the study of God’s words at the said place. Meanwhile, it was Brother Romualdo Alcantara, also a minister of the gospel, who led the second evangelical mission, which brethren from the Local Congregation of Taculing conducted at their house of worship. Both officiating ministers taught from the Bible the importance of the Church Of Christ in receiving salvation, being the sole body of Christ or only Church He built, and the only one that He redeemed with His precious blood.

“What truly amazed me was that all the answers to every question raised were all read from the Bible,” said Cherry Rose Auto, a guest. Another guest, Rolando Enso, declared: “I believe in the teachings upheld in the Church Of Christ, which is why I will now join this Church.”

Edcil and Sunshine Rafael, newly baptized couple, were among the brethren who invited and brought along guests at Benjamin Hall. “Our desire is that not only us but also our friends and loved ones be worthy of receiving eternal life. That is why we will not stop in sharing the faith,” said Sunshine.

In both evangelical missions, hundreds of guests attended. That was why Church members from the said congregations, which are all under the Ecclesiastical District of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, all “thank our Lord God for granting our prayers, giving us victories in this endeavor of the Church,” said Brother Rey Lachica, resident minister of F. Y. Manalo Local Congregation. — With Reports from Finley Sanglitan and Danica Udasco of INC News Section
