An inspiring message was conveyed to the members of the the Christian Employees Association (CEA) during an Employees’ Convention held last January 22, 2022. Among those who attended the online activity were members of the organization from the Ecclesiastical District of Zambales South. The brethren gathered in designated sites in various local congregations.

Brother Joseph Amarille, minister of the gospel assigned in the Office delivered a Bible-based lecture through videostreaming to the brethren who were gathered in various sites. He reiterated to them the importance of upholding Christian values in their respective work places. He went on to convey to them God’s assurance that He has laid in store blessings and protection for His obedient servants.

After the homily, resource speakers gave a series of seminars, discussing various topics, including the basics on the Labor Code and employees’ rights, as well as striking the right balance between their work and personal life. Attendees were also taught about how to care for their mental health.

“God will never abandon His servants who are faithful and have integrity, so such virtues should also be applied in our work place,” said Christina Abrigo, a choir member in the Local Congregation of Tabacuhan, who works as an administration officer.

Through CEA, the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, makes sure that all Church members always give their best in their workplace, and more importantly, they are guided by the words of God as they work for their livelihood. Established in 1986, CEA aims to strengthen the brotherhood among the brethren who are employees, guide them towards the righteous way of working for a living, and help them in safeguarding their Church Of Christ membership. — With reports from INC News Section
