Choir members from all congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe congregated in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Copenhagen, Denmark on July 2, 2023 to worship the Lord God and receive further edification through His words.
“Choir members in our district came from different local congregations [in] different countries. Despite the great distances that they had to travel and the hindrances that they faced, they were able to reach the special gathering in this place,” said Ann Kristin Ramirez, district choir director of Northern Europe.
District supervising minister Brother Vizar Balcita officiated at the special gathering. Through his Bible-based homily, he exhorted the choir members to remain in the true faith, devotedly perform their duties no matter the circumstance may be, and actively participate in all the Church’s endeavors.
“The choir members have an integral part in the worship services because they are the ones who lead the hymn singing that we render to God,” said Brother Vizar Balcita in an interview. “But for them to continue performing their duties, they make a lot of sacrifices, going through many hours of rehearsals to make sure that every worship service, they are able to please God through the fruit of their lips.” — With reports from Zavina Danielle Balcita of INC News Section
