Dili, East Timor GWS extends aid to fellow city dwellers

Recipients of the care packages out of the Dili GWS’ members’ goodwill included the doctrinal instructees, most of whom were Timorese.

“I was touched by what I watched about this Church. Its members are indeed sincere in reaching out with genuine concern to people wherever they may be, like here,” remarked one of the recipients, Nieves Marbella, who, she said, was a Baptist. “Thank you so much for the invitation. I feel so blessed,” she added.

The humanitarian event was conducted with the help and guidance of the Australia West Ecclesiastical District leadership under the supervising minister, Brother Romeo Beltran.

“We are thankful to the Almighty God for giving success to this activity in which the brethren fully cooperated in unity with the Church,” said Brother Companion.
