The Ecclesiastical District of Orange County, California, conducted the last of its series of activities commemorating the KADIWA’s 50th anniversary. On November 19, 2023, a formal night was held at an events venue in Glen Ivy Golf Club Trilogy Pkwy, Corona for single members 18 years old and above.

Dubbed “Embracing our Legacy,” the event provided the brethren a moment to remember God’s abiding help to their organization. Thus, a photo gallery was mounted, which featured their active participation during various endeavors of the Church throughout the year.

“This is the culmination of our organization’s anniversary celebration this year, we commemorate its successes through the years that were only possible with the help and mercy of our Lord God,” said Jethro Jay Narciso, KADIWA district president from the Local Congregation of Irvine.

Other booths were also set up, such as flower station, and photo booth, giving the brethren the chance to capture the moment as they bond with each other. There were song and dance performances showcasing Iglesia Ni Cristo original music that further delighted all in attendance as they relished the delectable dinner.

“I like meeting many people,” Myjelle Puntalan, KADIWA member from the Local Congregation of Anaheim, remarked. “What’s more, I met fellow members. I’m grateful.”

“In the coming years, I see myself still participating in the activities of the Church Of Christ,” Jorel Diesta, KADIWA member from the Riverside Local Congregation, promised. — With reports from Carla Luansing of INC News Section
