Hundreds receive God’s words in Butuan City evangelical mission

United with the aim of letting more people understand the words of God for their salvation, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Agusan del Norte brought guests to the evangelical missions held by their respective local congregations on September 1, 2023.
In the Local Congregation of Butuan City alone, brethren with more than 200 guests convened at its house of worship. Brother Rolando Puspos, district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, officiated at the said evangelistic activity.
Citing verses from the Bible, Brother Puspos emphasized the importance of being in the true Church for one to be certain of receiving salvation. He debunked the popular belief of having faith alone for one to be saved by reading from the Bible that faith must be accompanied by works, one of which is by joining the true Church—the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).
