In commemoration of the 54th year of the establishment of the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI), its members from the Ecclesiastical District of Iloilo North in the Philippines convened for a special gathering on July 2, 2023 at Sara Congregation’s house of worship.

The students, including the newly graduates, honor students, and recent passers of board examinations, received biblical counsel through the preaching of Brother Ray Policarpio, assistant district supervising minister.

Reading verses from the Bible, Brother Policarpio taught the attendees that even if they become successful in this life, they must remain humble and respectful to their parents. He also reminded them the importance of being thankful to God for all of the blessing that He continues to give to His people.

Before the holy gathering concluded, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the newly graduates and honor students.

Recounting how she felt God’s help to her for an entire school year, Mica Morenes, choir member from Cudionan Congregation, shared, “I am thankful to the Lord God for guiding me. Even if we are living in difficult times, I still make sure that I prioritize performing my Church duties. God never failed me. As proof, I even received an award from our school.” — With reports from Jean Rago of INC News Section
