As part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the KADIWA, its members from the Local Congregation of Copenhagen, Denmark, Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe gathered together on June 4, 2023 at the Vesterbro Library and Culture House in Copenhagen for their KADIWA Formal.

“What is really significant about this event is that the Church Administration intended it so that youth members foster brotherhood among them,” the congregation’s resident minister, Brother Philip Manguiat, explained. “Ideally, the brethren have their fellow members as their immediate and close friends, safeguarding them from harmful influences.”

The activity included fun games and interactive segments, as well as performances, which were inspiring renditions of INC original songs.

The activity, according to Brother Manguiat, aimed to emphasize “to the brethren that the best kind of joy is the one caused by being active in Church activities that lead them in obedience to God.”

Genesis Dela Cruz, KADIWA congregation president said, “Despite how busy we might be, it is always fulfilling and joyful to be in Church activities.” Richelle Cerri, a fellow officer, concurred: “The experience I had during the event truly provided me peace of mind. In these times than even the youth are busy, this activity was really a very good way to unwind and have a breather from stress.” — With reports from Anna Dulin of INC News Section
