The Ecclesiastical District of San Jose, Mindoro Occidental hosted the “Peer Coaching Seminar Workshop” for local congregation chroniclers on November 27, 2023. It was held at the conference hall of the district office situated along Felix Y. Manalo Avenue, Brgy. Pag-asa, San Jose. It helped chroniclers expand their knowledge of fulfilling their duty, that is, chronicling the history of their respective local congregations.

Brother Dominador Aguada Jr., minister of the gospel, facilitated the said event as a part of the INC Chroniclers’ International Assembly 2023, organized by the Church’s Research and Information Section. He led the attendees in a coaching session, simulation activity, and short history training.

“I learned from this activity that it is necessary to improve the way we obtain oral history, which is by observing the proper etiquette when conducting interviews,” said Jasmin Martisano from the Local Congregation of Yaw-Yawi.

“We’re thankful for this activity. Through this, the Church Administration has helped us develop our capacity as chroniclers and be of help in organizing the history of the Church, in each of its district and local congregation,” said Brother Van Joseph Mariano, district chronicler, on behalf of fellow officers. — With reports from Jerico Bire of the INC News Section
