Special gatherings in Capas, Tarlac edify Church officers, recruits

The Ecclesiastical District of Capas, Tarlac, in the Philippines, held special gatherings of Church officers, including new recruits, held on September 5, 2023.

These holy gatherings took place simultaneously at three different locations, which were the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of San Francisco, Balanoy, and Concepcion, and were officiated at by Brother Pedro Castillo, district supervising minister; Brother Beltsezar Laput, district Christian Family Organizations overseer; and Brother Efren Manalo, district Light of Salvation overseer, respectively.

During the study of the words of God, the officiating ministers emphasized the relevance of having Church officers in tending to the continuous growth of membership in the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

Among the recruits who attended the gathering was Christian Castro, who aspires to join the Society of Communicators and Networkers International (SCAN), from San Francisco Congregation. “I want to accept a Church duty to help the  Administration. I will cherish my duty, and promise to fulfill it with all my heart for the glory of the Lord God,” he said.

“This gathering inculcated in my mind and heart that accepting responsibilities in the Church has great relevance in ensuring salvation when Judgment Day comes,” said Lovely Hipolito, a would-be finance officer.

“We will always heed the call of the Church Administration, such as to all the more fulfill our duties, to always give glory to the Lord God,” expressed Carlos Santos, a ministerial worker, on behalf of the brethren from San Francisco. — With reports from Argel Mañebog and Rona Lindo of INC News Section
