Stockholm bet wins Northern Europe’s ‘Tagisan ng Talino’ for Binhi

During the Tagisan ng Talino (Bible Quiz) for Binhi members from the Ecclesiastical District of Northern Europe, held on July 31, 2022, the representative of the Local Congregation of Stockholm, Sweden won.
Gem Era Zion Lacuesta scored the highest among the participants. In the activity, the contestant’s knowledge about the history of the Church and their ecclesiastical district, the fundamental teachings of the Bible upheld by the Church, select Christian music videos, and specific episode of the program “CFO Today” was tested. The activity was facilitated online by the Binhi district officers.
“I was inspired to participate in this activity because I knew that it offered an opportunity for me to learn more and, at the same time, be able to share what I already know about the history of the Church Of Christ,” Gem said.
“Through the Tagisan ng Talino, the knowledge of the brethren about the Church, and its history gets tested. Finding out the answer to the questions promotes learning and this knowledge contributes to us becoming all the more steadfast members of the Church Of Christ; for the glory of our Almighty God,” Jenny Hemedez, one of the facilitators, explained.
The activity saw participation of brethren from local congregations in various countries in Northern Europe, including Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. — With reports from INC News Section
