Officers of the Children’s Worship Service (CWS) in the Ecclesiastical District of British Columbia, Canada received further edification in the faith during the special gatherings they attended on November 24, 2023 at either of the two venues.

The gatherings for the worship of the Lord God were conducted in commemoration of the 105th anniversary of the CWS.

Brother Glendo Baitan, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred gathering held in the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Vancouver West. Through biblical verses, he encouraged the congregants who were from the local congregations of New Westminster, East Vancouver, North Vancouver, Richmond, and Burnaby to remain committed to their duty of helping the Church Administration in nurturing the young members’ spiritual well-being.

On the other hand, CWS officers from the local congregations of Langley, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge, and Guildford gathered in the Surrey Congregation’s house of worship. Brother Ranniel Serreno, assistant district supervising minister, officiated at the service. During the study of God’s words, he emphasized the impact that CWS officers have in shaping the future of the Church, conveying to them the Administration’s call to ensure, with unwavering commitment, that Christian values are deeply instilled in the Church’ young members.

“I feel the love of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, our Executive Minister, for the youth of this Church and how much he takes care of the entire Church as well,” Jason Manaois, a CWS officer from Surrey, said. “Such gatherings teach us not only to rely on our Lord God, but also be able to feel the love and be able to have someone to turn into during difficult times.” — With reports from Venice Aquino of INC News Section
